The APN Public Ledger demonstration.
This route demonstrates how APN records can be listed, searched and checked using serials, cryptographic fingerprints and continuing status. The public view is designed not to expose names, emails, prices or evidence-bundle contents.
A matching record supports integrity checking. It does not, by itself, prove authorship, ownership, accuracy or that an underlying real-world event occurred.
The current public-safe dataset is downloadable for independent comparison. Availability and retention are not represented as permanent or immutable.

The six instruments.
The current demonstration model defines six candidate record types. Actual issue and wording depend on the work and authority.
- VRVerification Record
- APN records that it reviewed a claimed fact, removal, or state. The record shows APN’s statement and status; it does not independently prove the underlying event.
- ASAssurance Statement
- APN formally states the standard a piece of work was performed to.
- ATAudit Trail
- A chronological record of actions taken is issued with the work.
- EFEvidence File
- A preserved evidence set is handed to the client (e.g. for OAIC, police or insurer).
- SCSecure Case File
- A managed case is closed and its sealed file delivered.
- DRDocument Recovery & Review
- Recovered or reviewed documents are returned under the Filing Machine process.
Seal classes.
The seal class changes the dressing only — never the verification. A Standard Issue hash is exactly as strong as any other.
- Standard Issue
- The standard presentation class in the current certificate model.
- Founding Issue
- A presentation class reserved for an authorised founding cohort.
- Limited Edition
- A proposed class for an explicitly approved and numbered run.
- Enterprise / TRACE
- A proposed presentation class for appropriate business engagements.
What the current demonstration supports.
- A matching result confirms that the supplied serial or fingerprint matches a record in the current APN ledger dataset and shows its current recorded status.
- A cryptographic fingerprint can reveal whether supplied digital material has changed since that fingerprint was created.
- A matching fingerprint does not by itself prove authorship, ownership, accuracy or that an underlying real-world event occurred.
- The public ledger is designed to show serials and fingerprints rather than customer names, emails, prices or evidence-bundle contents.
- APN marks are issued by APN. They are not government or third-party accreditations.
