The Australian Privacy Network is one network of free front doors, human services, and tooling — at varying stages of development, all drawing on one shared, Australian-hosted backbone. These are modules and entry points, not finished standalone sites. This atlas shows how the pieces fit, who they help first, and how the work is intended to sustain itself without putting a price on safety.

The first three steps are free for everyone, always. Only the last three involve a choice to pay — and what people pay sustains the free path for the next person.

Shared infrastructure
Each site in the network is intended to read from the same Australian-hosted backbone, share one brand, and draw from the same curated register. Build it once; the whole network is meant to benefit.
The Register is the curated dataset behind the front doors, in development. Row-level security is intended to limit what surfaces to published, non-broken entries so the public is not shown a thin or broken list.
The Engine Room is the shared Sydney backbone the Atlas's own site reads from at runtime via a publishable, read-only key — the one piece with current evidence of being live. It is the single source of truth the network's front doors draw from.
The Lighthouse Design System, in development, carries the brand across the network: the lighthouse mark, the Deep Ocean / Navy Harbor / restrained brass / cream palette, Cinzel and Lora type, and reusable components. (App-wide consolidation onto the shared lighthouse component is a separate, planned brand task.)
APN Core, in development, is the shared legal and compliance shell the network's sites are meant to inherit — entity details, policies and the common compliance basis kept in one place.
Public-good model
The network is designed to leave everyone better off — safer, clearer, or more capable — even if they never pay a cent. These are the principles that hold it to that.

The network is intended to earn only from people who choose paid help, and from aligned services that do not compromise the free path. Projected figures are placeholders until sourced benchmarks are supplied.
